Lung Cancer : Symptoms
Symptoms of lung cancer vary from person to person and may include:
- a persistent cough that will not go away
- chest pain or arm and shoulder pain
- shortness of breath, wheezing, or hoarseness
- repeated episodes of bronchitis or pneumonia
- swelling of the neck and face
- weight loss and loss of appetite
- fatigue
- clubbing of fingers
- bloody or rust-colored spit or phlegm.
Many of these symptoms are not cancer, but if you notice one or more of them for more than two weeks, see your doctor.
Some patients may not notice any symptoms.
